Clark Clark used to be Carl and Kay's neighbor.

Before Season 4[]

Clark and his wife Cathy used to be Carl and Kay's best friends. In the 1980s when Earl and Randy saw Clark, a grown man, shed tears, they thought it was hilarious and decided that they had to see it again. Accordingly, they left stuff on his door step, such as a nest with broken eggs and a fake newspaper with the headline "Baby Suicides At An All High Time". One day, Earl and Randy saw Clark talking to Kay and pointed to the window that Earl and Randy were looking out from, and he then put a for sale sign in front of his house.

Season 4[]

Carl told Earl and Randy to collect their old stuff but when they arrived, they discovered that it meant "collecting" meant buying it back since their parents were having a yard sale. When Earl saw some lawn darts, he remembered how he and Randy tantalized Clark and realized it was Karma signaling him to make it up to him. Afterward, Earl and Randy found Clark's new address and apologized to him. Clark appreciated what they were trying to do, but he confessed that the reason why he left the neighborhood was actually because he had an affair with Kay. He then clarified that the day that he was talking to Kay, he was actually pointing at the window because he was telling Kay that Carl did not care about her enough because her husband had never put up storm windows. When Carl found out about the affair upon Kay's nervous confession, he left Kay and went with Earl to beat up Clark at his house. Opening the door, Clark tried to apologize but was immediately punched once by Carl, who laughed until Cathy suddenly appeared and started beating him up in turn.
