My Name Is Earl Wiki

Lorraine Mariano is Ralph Mariano's mother and the second ex-wife of Earl Hickey.

History[]

After their gig as a band, Ralph and his friends Earl and Randy went back to his mother's house with the groupies. While Ralph and Randy had sex with the girls they picked up, Earl's girl was unconscious drunk so he slept with Lorraine who came onto the drunk Earl.

Once Earl discovered karma, he put the encounter on his list and Ralph discovered this and got upset, vowing to kill Earl for what he did. Earl visited Lorraine in the hopes that she could control her son, she was willing but only if Earl slept with her again. This made him uncomfortable and she tried to bribe him but he fled the house, as she remarked Ralph will kill him.

To appease Ralph, Earl agreed to marry Lorraine after Ralph makes him marry her. As a result, Earl and Randy move in with her and Ralph. It was alright in the beginning, as she cooked and clean unlike his first wife. However, when she wants to have sex with Earl, he tells a different lie every night for two weeks, then lands up sleeping on the couch. This angered Ralph who tells him if he doesn't consummate the marriage he'd have to kill him, so Earl tells him he'll do it that night after the gig.

That night Phish Tahko performs at the Crab Shack and afterwards Earl decided to get so drunk that he wouldn't ever remember sleeping with Ralph's mom again, but he ended up passing out. After awakening, Earl walks home determined to finally consummate the marriage, but instead finds her in bed with his bandmate Tom Sparks. Earl knew it was clear he didn't really belong with Ralph's mom and Tom's a much better match, so Earl and Lorraine had their marriage annulled. This allowed her and Tom to continue seeing each other. Ralph is no longer mad because Earl had managed to make an honest woman out of his mother, and he finally got the father figure he never had, leaving everyone happy.

Notes[]

  • Similar to his first wife, she also cheated on Earl with a friend.
    • Unlike Joy, Earl did not mind because it got him out of a bad situation.
